Tea Timer ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free tea brewing timer developed by White Rabbit Software. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Tea Timer collects no personal data. All your tea preferences, brew session history, timer state, and theme settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (localStorage on the web, AsyncStorage on mobile). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
2. Data we do not collect
- No personal information of any kind
- No email addresses
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers or ad networks
- No location data
- No cookies (the web app only uses local storage)
3. Notifications
The mobile app may request permission to send local notifications to alert you when your tea is done steeping. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any remote server.
4. Third-party services
The app does not include any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or external data services. No third party receives your data through Tea Timer.
5. Children's privacy
Tea Timer is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone of any age.
6. Data retention & deletion
On-device data is retained until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Removing the app from your device deletes all associated data.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
